Alexander Abramov is a head of Club "7 Summits". USSR Master of Sports in mountaineering, a professional climber. Instructor of mountaineering, mountain guide, high-altitude cameraman. Full member of the Russian Geographical Society.

The initiator and leader of several well-known projects such as: "7 Summits", "Land Rover on Elbrus".
Engaged and climbing expeditions and organization of the competition for 28 years. The last 19 years - professionally. He made more than 150 climbs of varying difficulty.  
Ascent in the mountains of Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, France, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, the United States, Argentina, Indonesia, Tanzania, Nepal, Tibet, Crimea (Ukraine), Guinea, Alaska, Australia, New Zealand.
He made more than 50 winter and summer ascents on Elbrus as a guide.
December 15, 2005 ended the project "7 Summits" (the second time he graduated in 2013). 6th person in the world to complete the project "7 Summits".
