Vasiliy Barkhatov is a Russian theater and cinema director and screenwriter. The artistic director of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Opera Company (season 2013/2014 years), member of the Presidential Council of the Russian Federation for Culture and Art (2011-2012), member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation of the third and fourth compositions (2010-2012).
