Albert Efimov is the head of the robotics center "Skolkovo" Foundation.

Born on May 4, 1970 in Moscow. In 1993 he graduated from the Faculty of Cybernetics of the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of mathematics, specialty "Applied Mathematics". In 2002 he was awarded the Chevening scholarship program and holds a Master in Communication Management at Strathclyde Graduate Business School (UK). In 2012 he studied in the robotics summer school in the Imperial College of London. Since 2013, he is a graduate student of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations. He is the author of several scientific publications on the innovation ecosystem of Russia and co-author of the report Skolkovo Institute of Science and New Technologies on new production technologies.

From 1994 to 2011 he worked in medium and large Russian telecom companies - "Aerokom», «Equant» Group and Mobile TeleSystems (MTS). MTS was responsible for the development and implementation of IT strategies and interaction with the business. In January 2011 he joined the Information Technology Cluster "Skolkovo" Foundation as Director of IT projects. In 2011-2014 he developed a number of areas to support small high-tech enterprises, the participants in the Skolkovo health informatics, communication and computer vision. In 2013-2014 he worked as a social secretary of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of Russia on the development of the information technology industry.
