Andrey Kurpatov is a Russian psychotherapist, philosopher, TV presenter, television producer, author of popular books on psychology, scientific works and monographs on psychotherapy, philosophy, methodology and culturology.
Best known as a popularizer of psychotherapy: the author and presenter of the first and most successful on the domestic television psychological talk show, the author of more than 30 popular books published in 7 languages ​​with a total circulation of several million copies.
Kurpatov is the author of more than 100 scientific articles and monographs on psychotherapy, borderline mental disorders and psychosomatic illnesses. His work on philosophy and methodology served as the basis for a number of scientific studies, and the monograph "Psychosofia - methodology, psychotherapy and personality development" was awarded the prize of the professional psychological community "Golden Psyche". He began to work as an academic at the Military Medical Academy. The first studies were devoted to the history of the development of anatomical science in Russia. Thanks to the discoveries made by A.V. Kurpatov became the youngest member of the Scientific Society of Medical Historians in St. Petersburg.
